Here Goes Nothing

After speaking with a lot of young military spouses and significant others lately I felt the strong pull to make this blog. Why? Because I remember what it felt like to enter into this roller coaster ride called Army life, young, alone, and afraid.

I found myself 20 years old, hundreds of miles from home and everyone and everything I'd ever known. The only comfort and solace I had was that I knew that my soldier and I could get thru anything as long as we stuck together, And stuck together we have, celebrating our 10th anniversary just a few weeks ago. But, looking back on everything the one thing that still burns in my mind is the fact that I had little to know support from other military spouses. I had to rely on my soldier for answers or figure it out on my own ALONE.

From that moment on, I made a promise to myself that if I knew of a military spouse in need of support, regardless of branch, enlisted or officer, they would NEVER go thru what I did.
So I created this blog to share stories new and old, humor, heartache, tips, tricks and knowledge to give others what I didn't have....support.

So I hope that you all enjoy reading it, as much as I will writing it, and if I'm able to help just one person then it's well worth it

oxoxox,
Leslie
